Common Alloy Wheel Problems
- Bent rims from potholes
- Kerb damage & flat spots
- Buckled wheels
- Vibration at speed
- Uneven tyre wear
- Wheel pulling the car
Steering-wheel shake, uneven tyre wear or the car pulling to one side usually means a buckled alloy. Left untreated it destroys tyres, ruins fuel economy and — in extremes — can cause loss of control.
How We Fix It
Free Assessment
Bring the wheel or car in. We measure runout on our equipment and give you an honest verdict: fix or replace.
Straighten
Hydraulic pressure reshapes the rim back to factory tolerance. No heat that would weaken the alloy.
Balance & Test
Re-balanced with matched weights, runout verified to under 1mm, road-tested where possible.
Back on the Car
Refitted, torqued and pressure-set. Most jobs turned around in 2 hours.
Alloy Wheel FAQ
Is it always safe to straighten an alloy?
Not always. Severe cracks, hairline fractures or structural damage mean the wheel must be replaced. Our assessment is honest — if we can't safely fix it, we'll say so upfront.
Will the repair show?
The straightening process is invisible. If the rim is scraped or gouged from kerb damage, we can refer you to a specialist refinisher if cosmetic work is needed.
Can you collect the wheel?
Bring the car in and we'll swap to your spare while we work. If you can't, call us — we may be able to arrange collection locally.
